We have a whirlpool induction range. When it starts beeping, throwing error codes or not working properly, we just turn the breaker off and back on again. This has always worked for us, although we have had to do it more than once a few times.

Thank you Jody, normally that does the trick for us too. Have you ever experienced it not wanting to heat up? Each element won’t go past 6 for some reason

It has done that when it’s just acting wonky in several ways (I.e. boost not working, random beeping of the oven with error codes, etc) but cycling the breaker has always worked for us and set it back on track. So you have done that and it’s still not working right? If so, you may have to call in someone to take a look. We haven’t had to do that yet but I wonder if finding someone could be difficult because it’s induction? I have always worried about that if we ever needed repairs. Let me know how it turns out! good to know! tried the breaker twice, no such luck. I’m going to leave it overnight and hope that it fixes itself, I’ll try it again in the morning. I also worry about finding someone to repair it but I suppose we’ll cross that path if we need to, I can’t imagine it being cheap that’s for sure. I will let you know!
