Newbie help- Calamondin leaves cupping in and drying up

last modified: 4 years ago

Hello. I recently bought a calamondin potted plant online. I received it a couple of weeks ago. The leaves were caked with dirt and mud, which I wiped off clean. They were splotchy with yellow spots and a lot of them were torn (the inside branches grow thickly together and cross cross each other). No insects. I used a drip feed citrus fertiliser and watered only when the soil was dry to touch until water ran out of drainage hole. The first week was ok, but second week some of the edges of leaves are starting to to curl together or cup (you can see them more on top right of photo or the top left when the photo is sideways). Some of the leaves feel like they are getting dry. i do have it by south facing window. is it shock from the change? Shouldn’t have used the drip feed fertiliser? needs more water? I’m in UK and keep it inside. the weather outdoors is too inconsistent to keep outside. Should I prune some of the inner branches Too?
