The major reason I've heard that side lighting is needed in addition to lighting above, is for makeup or looking at one's face. Since side lighting isn't an option on the left, I'm looking at the lighted mirror.

Currently the only small master bath light is above the medicine cabinet. I can't put a light on the wall to the left of the sink as that wall houses a pocket door. DH doesn't want to put a can light above.

I could put a sconce of some kind to the right of the vanity, there's electrical in that wall.

The light I'm considering has high lumens and good kelvin.
