Can you put the aquarium under the horizontal picture and put your two chairs where the aquarium is now? Maybe a small table between the chairs.

How did fit in I also have two aquariums in my dining room (60 gal fresh and a 40gal breeder for saltwater)

The room needs to be arranged as a group. That's a Pottery Barn staging trick. Ie:

1. The "Conversational" GroupingInstead of facing all furniture toward the TV, create a "U" or "H" shape with seating to encourage conversation.

• Pull Furniture Away from Walls: Even in small rooms, moving furniture just a few inches away from the walls makes the space feel more luxurious and open.
• Use Area Rugs to Anchor Groups: Place all front legs of sofas and chairs on an area rug to visually anchor them as one cohesive group.
• Add Pairings: Pair a sofa with two chairs opposite it or on either side of a coffee table to create a balanced, intimate grouping.
