Post pics and I will say what I always say painting brick is IMO the fastest way to devalue a home so post somwe pictures and see if there is abetter way to make your home nicer.

I'm not keen on brick, so I would do what I needed to get it a different color (including getting a different material - siding, etc). Be aware, however, that painting brick is a maintenance issue that you're going to have to keep up with.

Impossible to say without seeing a picture of the home. Painting brick is forever...make sure you do your homework re: the product you use...
