I would suggest a medium to royal blue that will harmonize with the blue-grey of the bar stools, and I would use it on all the walls. For the Roman shade over the kitchen sink, I would suggest white OR a blue that is two shades darker than what you have on the walls. For the living room, you might choose a blue that is two shades lighter or darker than the blue you would choose for the kitchen.

I think it is really pretty. But there is a lot of it since it is covering so many spaces. Would you mind sharing the color? I'm actually looking for a similar color for an accent wall in my office. Like a stormy blue grey. When I was researching colors on Benjamin Moore, I started looking at the grays that lean blue over the blues that lean gray. The good news about the color you chose is that it does not in any way look like a baby blue or a highly saturated blue. It is dustier in the light and a little more intense in low light. I wonder if in your case, you could repaint the more open spaces with the same color, but have some white added. You'd have to test it first since just adding white doesn't necessarily just dilute the color, but it might be a way to tone some areas down if they feel too dark for you. I agree with other posters to see how it looks once you get your furniture and carpet in. It may all come together then.

There's always evidence, it might make its way to us in a slower way maybe I've several books that illustrate interiors like that. Some of them can be a bit hard to swallow. So unusual they are. But incredibly interesting. "English Eccentric", "To Each His Home"..I need to think.. These things will never be about what's "in" or "out" though.."in" and "out" are by definition somewhat humorless. They take it all too seriously..or suggest others should take it seriously When you meet an interesting person. The one you'd like to understand more about. The one that amuses you or fascinates you or warms you or surprizes you or makes you wonder and contemplate.. Is he "in" or "out"? "In" and "out" don't apply even. They lay somewhere in a different plane of being. That has nothing to do with a person.. Trends do reflect times, somewhat. A certain time in a certain place. People of course carry with them reflection of times they're born in. And places But they carry something else too.
