Rod style pendant fixture can't be installed on tall vaulted ceiling

I am in the design selection process with our builder and I have fallen in love with the kitchen island pendants pictured below. The problem with these fixtures is that they will be hung on our vaulted 16-17 ft. ceiling, and since they are on a rod there is an issue with mounting them relating to the degree the rod can swing at the top mount. The builder is seeing if they can convert the rod to a chain, but in the event that they cannot I will need to find a different pendant on a chain.

I LOVE everything about these...the shape, two tone colors, everything. I have searched the internet high and low and have found a very similar fixture on a chain, but it is $900 per pendant as opposed to $450 from the builder. Reaching out here to see if anyone has seen a similar fixture on a chain that isn't $900 per fixture. Please help!

Boy howdy, this is the easiest fix. remove the swivel mount in the canopy, replace with a male loop, use a threaded male loop on the rod end and tread it into the rod and then thread another loop onto that. then put a couple of links of chain between the two. The color match is not going to be perfect but from 26ft up no one will know. perhaps you can order chain from the same vendor.

ASK THE BUILDER FOR THE MFG.

Thanks so much for this! I do have the specs on the fixture and it comes from Lee Lighting who said they could help match a chain. I’m going to share this information with the builder and hope they can accommodate.

Polished Luxury Chandelier ($400) from Shades of Light

Hi, in case the above doesn't work, this isn't exactly the same, it doesn't have the gold box, but the lines are the same and it's mixed metals. The top has a chain integrated so it can swivel. I had the same problem, looking for a mixed metal pendant for a vaulted ceiling at an angle. I didn't choose the same profile as you, but I remember seeing several in mixed metal in a lantern or square shape. I found this one, if I find the others, I will pass them on, just in case.

I just found this one, but it isn't square, that I had considered, has similar candle lights and mixed metals, don't know about the size of your lights, comparatively though:

lee lighting is the store not the vendor. Whoever makes it probably makes other things in the same finish hence being able to get the same chain, I would go to the lighting store yourself.

I looked up the lighting store they have been in bus. 50 years they know exactly what Im talking about.

I understand for the last one. I wouldn't want to spend that much either. Did you look at the other three I posted for possibilities? Also, if you find the maker of the light, like RL posted above, they usually make different versions, 1 light, 4, 6, and they may also have the slope ceiling adapter. Most lighting places will sell these too. When I bought my ceiling fans, I had to get this and they just looked it up when I purchased the fan. Any lighting shop (Lee lighting, for ex) should easily be able to do what the prior posters mentioned.
