What is opposite the fireplace?

Looks like you have enough room to put it on either side.

@decoenthusiaste I have a console table that's usually there, on the left of the fireplace. My furniture is arranged in front of it.

I was referencing the wall on the other side of the room from the fireplace.

I wasn't a fan of tv's above the fireplace until I did it in my own home. It worked out very well. There was no neck strain and viewing was quite easy.
