Brenna - I am deciding between a few Purrfection colors. Champagne is one of them. Thank you for the photos. The sample to me has a mauve hue to it, which I don’t like. Your photos don’t seem have that. Do you see pinks or purples in your carpet?

Leela - I would love to see photos of your choice, white sand. Do you mind sharing?

We are considering this carpet also and i am picking up a pink/mauve hue. Therefore I am leaning towards the color matchstick. If anyone has input on the color matchstick, I’d appreciate it.

I also see a pink/mauve hue, which is making me consider matchstick instead. If anyone has see matchstick in person, I’d love input.

Thank you for posting this picture! I'm ordering tomorrow and I'm between white sand and Olympic. In person does the white sand lean more cream or grey? Thanks! It's beautiful.

It leans more white/clean cream color, Olympic was a little more gray and one dimensional

Has anyone seen the platinum color of purrfection installed. Considering it for a sitting room with lots of light and a stair case.

Needs to blend with cream and charcoal cabinets in open concept kitchen with slate floor.

Hi everyone! Just wondering if anyone has photos they can show of Purrfection. I’m a little worried about some of the colors being too light. Has everyone been happy with it? Thanks!

See above photos posted of white sand purrfecfion. It is one of the lighter colors but in my opinion has plenty of contrast and color go hide things. I have 3 small children and always have more kids over and it looks great

Thanks Leela! That’s a beautiful color. It hasn’t started showing stains yet even with kids? I have kids and a dog so I was a little worried about that.

We had one kid with a bloody nose and he trailed his bloody nose drip all over the carpet and another vomit chocolate milk + red sauce/pasta. Used luke warm water both times with a microfiber cloth and then followed up with Folex. I couldn’t tell you where exactly these accidents happened on the carpet, came out totally clean.

That’s amazing!!! Thank you SO much for your help. I appreciate it!!

Any issues with dogs snagging the loops? That's my biggest concern but love the look of this carpet!!

Brenna and leela thank you for the pictures. i am between champagne and white sand and having a hard time deciding. going in my family room which is currently an off white berber and i am afraid the champagne will look too brown. brenna is it lighter or darker than the sample once installed? leela, do you have white sand on the stairs and if so can you post a picture? i am planning to use it on the stairs as well. Thank you!

I don’t have a sample handy to compare it to now that it is down - but I would say it isn’t too brown for me (in my home) and doesn’t feel too dark. To me it just feels like a rich taupe, not brown. And I have a much much lighter rug nearby it - cream by comparison - and even next to each other, I don’t feel the champagne looks brown, still feels taupe. My house is warm tones. I have it next to a warm medium brown LVP.

Thanks so much for your reply. my house is warm tones as well and once on the stairs and upstairs hallway it will be up against an off white oatmeal color berber in the bedrooms. im just so used to the lighter color that im afraid to go darker! plus im extremely indecisive which does not help! have you been happy with the carpet? do you know what kind of pad was installed? the carpet store suggested the felt pad to us but i am used to the cushier bonded pad.

I’ve had carpet samples for over a month and still can’t decide! I love how white sand looks more like wool. I also have Matchstick but worried it will look to “warm”. From left to right it’s Mocha Cream, White Sand, and Matchstick. My house is painted in Benjamin Moore Simply White and I mostly have neutral colors (soft grays and ivory). If anyone has photos would love to see more in a big space.

Sdd and savannah- I don’t have it on stairs. We have hardwood floors everywhere and carpet only in bedrooms.

I liked mocha as well and was between that and white sand. I chose white sand because it looked like wool to me and also the hints of multiple subtle colors would be more flexible for designing spaces… paints/decor. Our paint is throughout the house is a very neutral but bright white (not warm or cool).

Savannah, thank you it is so helpful seeing the samples side by side. this is the carpet that i am replacing and i dont want to go darker, so i am really leaning towards white sand. Leela, wiuld you say the color is close to this? i have a larger sample of white sand on order because it is so hard to tell with the small samples on the board.

I think white sand is definitely lighter!

Has anyone installed this carpet with pets? Wondering if it will hold up to a golden retriever. Any snagging issues even if you don’t have pets?

Leela or brenna, do either of you have any seams in your carpet? When they came to measure they told me I will definitely have seams and I’m wondering how noticeable they will be.

I’m between white sand and champagne. Worried that the champagne has a bit of pinky beige in it. Trying to escape our early 2000’s brown decor! Anyone have pics of white sand in a large room? Or any room?

Mary, did you decide? I’m seriously considering white sand also but want to make sure that doesn’t look pink at all.

Is the Purrfection in Champagne more beige or grey? I'm looking for beige, but wondering if it looks more beige or grey installed? Thanks!!

I would say definitely a beige/taupe. It doesn’t pull grey to me at all. My house is a lot of warm tones tho. It is next to warm wood / LVP on my floors and stair railing. I would say a definite taupe.

Is Purrfection in Chamagne color more beige or grey? Looking for a light beige but sometimes see some grey in different lighting. Thanks!!

Thank you! I appreciate it. I really don't like picking out carpeting!

Can anyone follow up to this thread as to what they ultimately decided? Trying to decide between, Mocha Cream, White Sand and Olympic. Walls will be MB Edgecomb grey and bathroom tile is porcelain marble lookalike(off white and grey) would love your feedback on what you ended up choosing

I used white sand with Elmira white on the walls. I love it, it came out great!

Thanks for the feedback! Was worried Olympic too warm and Mocha Cream to cool.

It is a third floor bonus room…newly empty nesters (one still in college) and not sure how we will use the room going forward. Sewing/hang out/guest/exercise etc. currently has ping pong table and a variety of random furniture from years of playroom fun and sleepovers!

I will try to upload some pictures later today. I have it on my stairs family room and living room with hardwood in between.

White sand is very neutral and I love the pattern.

Thank you so much!! Picking carpet is tough!

Deciding between Mocha Cream and White Sand. Does anyone have a pic of a staircase or hallway in either?

Thanks for the pictures! I ordered White Sand couple of days ago. Both colors look great!

Looks like it does well on the stairs.

Yes, the pattern looks especially dood on the stairs! I think you’ll be very happy.

Can anyone provide feedback on using this carpet with dogs? Do the loops snag or run if pulled?

  • last year

Can anyone comment on how they spot clean this carpet successfully? I have a 17 y/o cat who gets sick one every two weeks or so. I bought this carpet with the idea that it would be easy to clean. So far I can get the stain out but not without rubbing which is causing premature wear patterns.

  • last year

Final thoughts on this carpet: very pretty and much softer under foot than I expected. I could not clean this carpet without it “distorting” the loops. It was obvious I had cleaned it even if I could get the stain out. I ended up with Shaw Tranquil Spirit which I like the look of better and I can clean without issues. Not nearly as soft, but since we have an old cat we need to be able to fully clean the carpet.
