Blank wall help!

Hello! Recently remodeled kitchen and now we have a large open/blank wall. I’m really not an art person and I am looking for suggestions to put on this wall behind the island?! Paint color is BM Balboa Mist. Our home is 101 years old. It is classic/traditional which is what we went for in the remodel. Farmhouse is not our style. Any suggestions for this blank wall

appreciated!!

How about one large landscape painting? Or an oversized photograph? Or a trio of national parks posters?

Can you provide more pictures of the rest of the space? So we can see your style.

A large beautiful piece of abstract artwork would look lovely.

I would do a large framed glitter canvas, check out the ones from Zgallerie

I think I'd pick an actual color for the two small wall areas around the corner where the two doors are shown. then regarding the wall in question ...I'd go for wall paper in some of the newer patterns..beautiful and classy .Not a good spot for a hanging picture but the wallpapers now are like art.

Beautiful kitchen! Since you said 'classic and traditional', I was thinking that a beautiful wallpaper might work, maybe will a bit of silver to pick up on your fixtures/pulls. Alternatively, although you said you're not an art person, you might like prints of your favorite family or vacation photos (all in simple frames, not too many and not cluttered, in black and white always looks classic) or a cool map, nicely framed, if you're into geography or have a favorite vacation spot. Honestly, your kitchen is so pretty that I don't look at it and think "blank wall" - I notice all the rest of it.

It’s gorgeous! I agree with others, maybe wallpaper or black and white artwork. I wouldn’t go crazy here with color. It doesn’t look bad plain!

Thank you all for the kind words and suggestions!!! The hubs won’t go for wallpaper, so I think we‘ll try for simple art or the photos in simple frames. I’m Italian and have family recipes shared for generations...I would love to beautifully frame some of my favorites and work them in-maybe on the small wall between the two doors. (One door is basement and swing door is butlers pantry). thanks again to all!

Yes!! Frame some recipes! Have the recipes printed bigger!

Don’t put anything by those doors, you don’t want to draw attention to that area
