replacing apron front farmhouse sink without replacing quartz top

I want to replace our stainless apron front farmhouse sink with a fireclay one. I have researched through other posts and it sounds like it can be done, but is tricky. Our quartz countertop has a seam directly in the middle of the faucet (I'm pointing to it in the picture). Others have told me based on the position of the seam, I have a greater chance of cracking the countertop. I wanted to get some expert opinions on this though as those who told me that were not experts. We are in the middle of a kitchen makeover and the cabinets are also going to be painted, so this is the time to take care of it if it can be done. Any suggestions or help is much appreciated! Thanks!
