Modern fiber cement products

Hi all - we are building a new custom home, and priced it with Hardie siding. Their stuff just doesn't seem that modern though. Are there other companies' products I should be looking at? I think the Nichiha products are gorgeous and just reached out to them but literally found them googling fiver cement. I just have no knowledge in this area and would love some advice - thanks!

Nichia products aren't available in all markets. Your architect should be able to suggest alternative materials available in your market.

Define "modern" and what your design goals are. Posting drawings and photos would help too.

Long Board Siding is an aluminum plank siding. Trespa Pura is a phenolic type plank siding, You can use Trespa, Fundermax or the like phenolic panels system in just about any size.
