Need help with furniture layout for Kitchen/Dining/Living space

Hi all!!
I am facing the challenge of designing my new home that has a very long rectangular open floor plan. I need the space to flow but I would like the living and dining areas to be defined and appear somewhat separated. I’ll attach a photo of the space and the bare
floor plan along with a floor plan design I have currently envisioned. I mostly struggle with scale and i’m not sure the way i imagine it would actually look right. Could use some tips or suggestions thanks!!!
