The only challenges I can envision is to get a complete seal - you wouldn't want the glass to create trapped moisture on the wall behind - cement board behind should deal with that aspect once you have good overlap / water closure in the corners . . . Also, to meet code, you need tempered glass. Candice Olsen did a few backpainted glass walls in some showers on her shows years back. But just one, with tile closing over it at the corners . . If you address the practical elements, there is no reason not to - easier to keep glass clean in a shower than most.

Looks like Corsican mint. Is it fragrant?

I thought it was also but no, it doesn't have a fragrance and on closer inspection is not quite the same.

Your plant has alternate foliage so it cannot be any member of the mint family. They all have opposite foliage.

Have you ever noticed any flowers on it? Some kind of Pratia perhaps???

I just finished looking at Pratia Angulata and it does look very much like it. Perhaps the spring will tell more when it flowers. Thank you! You may have solved the mystery!
