Little comments: painter said to me that Dover White is his favorite for any wall. It's slightly yellowish...? My peach white looked real good in my east-facing kitchen... warm and inviting.

Houzz: Most paint companies have a "pure white" or "ultra white," for a crisp and clean look in the kitchen. But you can also go with a shade of white that has a tiny touch of yellow, brown or gray, which will warm up or cool down the white and add a little life to it.

Another tidbit from houzz: Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore for minimalist design... it reads cool, clean, crisp.

Sometimes when people are fearful to go too white, they wind up choosing something with a yellow undertone, and it reads yellow, making the room look more RUSTIC.
