Nancy, such a nice plant! While I don't know the answer to your question (I think it's 'yes', but not sure), might it be better to find out first what's eating it, then you'll know if the need for neem is appropriate?

thank you before it got dark I went and washed it with a mild soapy water it had some spider poop and spider webs on it so I hope that did it. The plant is from the clipping of a 70 yr old plant and it is beautiful when it blooms. Just have stay up that night to catch it. But so worth it.

Spiders won't do that, but perhaps it was something that just moved on. Hard to believe this Epiphyllum is a cactus, tropical jungle dweller that it is.

If snails or slugs are nibbling at night, neem won't help. As the first person said, you have to find out what's eating it before you know how to remedy the situation.

My experience is that neem is never a good choice for succulents, it damages the farina or waxy finish on the leaves. Soap should be rinsed away especially if it's a sunny or hot spot. Soap should not be used on farina, it will almost always damage it cosmetically and beyond sometimes. Rubbing alcohol is my first choice, but a nite time flashlight visit is usually fruitful if you have large wounds/bites.
