Kerry has done it once again! She decorated my Cape house a few years back when she spent the summer at her house on the Cape. I saw how she decorated her own home and immediately hired her to help me. She transformed the space and did an impeccable job. She was able to work with much of the furniture i already owned just by positioning it in a new way and just using new accoutrements. Unfortunately, for me she is back home in Florida so I could not hire her to help update my house on the north shore of Massachusetts until Covid hit. So maybe there is a silver lining here as I contacted her and was able to make virtual house calls to my home a number of times over the last few months. She is like a concierge design service having helped me though face timing and zoom capabilities to transform my living and family room. I sent her the dimensions of the room and told her how I utilize the space and she listened and offered suggestions. She helped me with color, design, types of furniture to complement my craftsman style home and offered me different options so i could envision how different designs, size of furniture, color and texture could totally change the look of a room. She sent me lots of websites with pictures of accessories to complement my existing couches and coffee tables. She saved me money once again because the furniture was still in good shape but needed some sprucing up. I could not believe how she once again dramatically changed the look of both rooms by changing the color, having me move some pieces of furniture around and adding some new window treatments and accessories. I relied on her discerning eye to tell me where to place the furniture and it transformed the space completely. Kerry has an eclectic approach to design and her knowledge is versatile so she easily adapted these skills and used them interchangeably between my 2 very different style homes. She decorated my Cape home in a whimsical and nautical theme where she used more of a Frank Lloyd Wright approach to updating my other home. She helped me find more space by positioning things differently and now the space is clean, inviting and the rooms look more open yet cozier which is important to me especially now during covid as i am spending more time here now working from home.
