This dark, marginally-functional eyesore is getting an overhaul.

And out go the soffits!

This weekend we plan to put in a big-ole window on that-there north wall.

This will be a rather leisurely remodel, finishing up by the end of January due to cabinet and counter lead time. But we figured there's nothing stopping us from getting a jump start now.
