I went through my pictures and I am attaching images so that you can see what my house and deck look like, but I haven't any pictures of it newly painted - this is the OLD paint.. and I haven't put the shutters up yet. The new paint, that Mineral Green, must be d/c'd already! It looks like the old paint, but just deeper. I discovered the color from a Benjamin Moore brochure.. it was featured on a house on it's cover... see if any of these pictures help you. I can not imagine a green deck at all... I'm hoping a taupe or some kind of deeper gray might work? Please let me know if you need more pictures... I could only attach four.. I can take some tomorrow of the new look if that helps. I really appreciate this!

I had the same problem with BM Simply White! After seeing this color throughout a parade home last year, I had my heart set on it. It showed as a beautiful pure, but not stark, white in that home. When my contractor asked for my color selections he asked if it was OK to color match to SW. I said "no problem," as I had done this many times before with other colors. I never dreamed it could turn out as badly as it did. My ENTIRE house AND ceilings were painted this color before I saw it and realized how bad it was. To me the SW version of Simply White looks like buttered popcorn and in some lights it appears to be a greenish yellow. YUCK. So now I'm paying the "dumb tax" with this mistake, big time. Today I have someone repainting every ceiling in my house, and this weekend I'll be repainting every wall in the entire house - all at my expense. Lesson learned - I'll NEVER color match again. The cabinet in the below photo is painted BM White Dove. The walls are the SW-mixed Simply White. Simply White is supposed to be a brighter white than White Dove. You can really see how cream/yellow the SW mixed Simply White looks here. Here is my SW mixed Simply White ceiling next to a white LED recessed light with and a chip of SW Extra White - the color we are repainting everything.

You should try the visualizer and then buy samples. Dovetail will suck all the light out of your bedroom. BTW, did you know you are supposed to choose your bedding before you choose a paint color? Salty DogNorth StarWaterloo and since someone mentioned it, here is Lazy Gray

Hello, hope all is well. I had the same issue with the the Classic French Gray (SW007) this color made my walls extremely charcoal gray not the light gray I was looking to achieve. I also had the same issue with Gray Screen (SW7071) this color made my was look powder blue. I had to visit the Sherwin Williams store and spoke with a representative about the issues I was having with their paint colors. They informed me that all of the paint swatches have a blue base mixed in the paint that was why I was seeing the different colors. They provided me with two samples of paint P-4 and P-5. They assured me I will have they desired color of light gray that I have been trying to achieve. Hopefully, this helps.
