Steel tubs are cheap looking and porcelain can be chipped easily I like Maax tubs in acrylic easy to move decent price and really easy to keep clean

I also looked at the kohler bellwether and memoirs for cast iron replacement. I have a 60 yr old cast iron now. Contractor recommended Maax or duravit for acrylic because the kohler tend to be narrow inside . My husband liked the feel of the Maax as he was able to stretch out just wondering how it will hold up to daily baths since he takes one everyday and also wondering if they installed yours with a mortar bed? I just can't convince myself on acrylic vs cast iron except that we won't be able to get the soaking depth on a cast iron because of the 60x 30 or 32 restriction we are working with

I've been a contractor for over 27 years and you can't go wrong with Kohler. I also don't believe that Build.com has a restocking fee but I could be wrong. I buy from them as a contractor and they don't charge me to send things back.

Thanks @Ondre'a! Can you tell me why? Where did you get the faucet? I like this shaped tub SO MUCH and the price is good. Thinking as I get older it'll be easier to get in/out of. Any chance you'd post a pic of you sitting in it like you're reading? FULLY CLOTHED DUH! We are the same height and it'd be OH SO HELPFUL since I can't test it out.
