I love my Kitchen Aid. It’s super quiet and I love the bottle washer feature. I think for under 1k it’s a really nice unit. Dishes come out much cleaner than the Kenmore we replaced.

Love my Bosch! So quiet, excellent performance, and no problems since I purchased it 10 years ago.

I love my KitchenAid. It holds a lot and the 3rd "FreeFlex" rack is great at accommodating different of dinnerware.

I really like my Bosch, it cleans great and it's so quiet. I like the 3rd rack a lot and will want it if I ever need a new dishwasher.

The only thing I don't like is the bottom rack. There is no flexibility in the design and the layout is kind of odd.

Love my Bosch. It took me a few days to figure out how to load it the best way...I was complaining. Very clean dishes and super quiet while on.

Love my GE Cafe dishwasher, my favorite features are the 3rd rack at the top for plastic/stainless straws, large sharp knives, water bottle tops and other flat things.... adjustable 2nd rack...and it's quiet. Everything comes out sparkling. It does take 3+ hours to run/dry on the normal setting with the ultra dry but I usually run it at night so it's not a big deal.

I'm writing this because I know how hard it is to find honest reviews on line. I am also looking at new dishwashers. The one I have now is a Bosch. I bought it due to all the amazing reviews. It is quiet, but does a terrible job cleaning the dishes. The bottom rack is always coming off the tracks and cannot handle the weight of my dishes even when lightly packed. I would not recommend this dishwasher. Their customer service is extremely lacking and they do no cover most repairs. The wash cycle is extremely long and the control panel doesn't work most of the time even though it was replaced after the first year. Sometimes a fancy name doesn't mean it's better. It amazes me to still see all their good reviews. It's almost like everyone is jumping on the "Bosch" bandwagon. I'm looking at the Miele for the warranty and because it's made in Germany where they are known to make high quality products, and the Thermador, because I have their range and am quite happy with the quality of it.

lmessina12 Since I am in no real hurry I am waiting for my niece to purchase hers. She just purchased a new home and doesn't like the one that came with the house. The silverware rack is in the front door (I think that's what she said). If someone tells me they love their dishwasher and have had it for a long time, I cannot find the same brand with the same features in the newer models. I am looking at reviews, some do not dry dishes, some like rack at top and remove rack below to make room for larger pots, etc. What is better, top buttons/front buttons, vinyl, pvc, steel or whatever racks, fan dry/heat dry and the list goes on. Then, after she has it for a couple of months she can let me know the pros and cons of her purchase. Until then, I waited 50 years--I an wait.
