I did the LED lights with a motion sensor so turns on when I open closet door then turns off automatically. Love it.

That is a great idea. Do you still have a light switch on the wall?

I never even thought of where a light switch would go, but it has to go inside the closet. I think I might get a 24" long LED light so the entire closet lights up.

No light switch- they are hard-wired and on the motion sensor. Very slick. My son is an electrician and knew what to get. In my prior house we had a wall outlet in closet with plug in LEDs and on-off button. This set up is much better.

My closets are typical wall closets, but 2 adjacent double closets that span 12ft in length. I used 4 of the lights.

This lets you see the lights. I can ask my son the electrician for specs

Locate on the wall above the doors so no worries about clearances. Motion sensors are great or you can get light switches which are in the door jamb so light goes on like a fridge light.

I like the 4000K lights. I think all of those will work.
