Best carpet for high end home? Low pile ideal.

Any suggestions for great, low pile, beautiful carpet for a high end home? I need to replace carpet, but I want it to look sophisticated. Something I could still layer an area rug over if I wanted to. Also, I have littlest, so durability is key as well.

I have been researching carpet for higher-end home too that is low-pile. My research points to 100% wool, and I do like Stanton choices. But, any idea why that brand in particular only offers a 1 year warranty unlike the mainstream brands selling synthetic fibers?
