Green with those rusty red floors will be a diluted Christmas look. Color opposites intensify each other. The red will look redder, and the green will be greener.

With the red tones in the floor, pick something with red in it to harmonize, and not intensify that.

Are the floors really red? And so dark? They look different in each of the shots aboveThey appear mid toned brown. Try a portobello paint shade. Get lighting up to what it should be then go forward w picking.

Honestly I am not sure about the floors as I have yet to see them. My boyfriend just goes full steam ahead. I am a slow planner and put loads of thought into everything. It drives me nuts he does not do the same.

I'm familiar with that type of stained concrete look from work and from a concert venue, and the floors are brown, not red.

I would still go with something more of a typical gray-ish white like BM White Dove.

Thanks guys. Thoughts on just using simply white by SW? He is doing all of the trim the same color as the cabs. The wall color is a warm off white called Spanish White by BM.

I think it's the differences in computers - I def see some red/brown in those floors. In person it could be a different story. If you can't get him to slow down until you can eyes on it yourself then IMO you have to shrug it off - it's his kitchen! What will be will be.

I am really liking pewter green on the bottoms and simply white on top. That was the original plan. Here is a crappy mock up. I think the pewter green will read dark in his house. I tried to darken it to what I think it woul look like.

That looks nice. I had that color acid stained concrete floors in my last house (office), with LA Olive 4 walls. Looked great.

I like the gray-toned green a lot.
