too small sink in a 27" kitchen sink base cabinet

Our house was a new build in 2012. The builder put in a 27" base cabinet for our sink - which is very small. (He wanted to put in a D-bowl sink, but I didn't want the faucet off center.) So I found an Elkay undermount sink which has proven to NOT be a big enough sink for our family of six. It is impossible to wash dishes without getting soaked - and above all, it just looks funny because it is our main (and only) sink but looks like a bar sink. We are looking into removing the sink and retrofitting a farmhouse sink - anyone know of an apron front/farmhouse sink that can fit in a 27" base cabinet?
