Our new townhome has stacked stone accents on the exterior along with siding. I am looking to add faux brick to the inside wall running the length of the living space. Is it ok to add the brick inside with the stacked stone outside? Thoughts please. Do these two separate areas have to match re. Materials@? Colors will coordinate

the fireplace wall would have shiplap. The other two pics are the long wall on either side of the fireplace. thats where brick would go. I’m looking to finish the space and give it some warmth and character. We have a local business that does very nice, natural looking brick finishes.
