Wow, good eyes, nutsaboutplants! I had not even really noticed that until you pointed it out, but now that I see it, I think that's probably why I like the cowhide there so much. I was heartened to see that it was still in place this morning, as I had a mental image of Butters and brigade pulling it off and carrying it elsewhere. Apparently they think it's good where it is too. ;-)

She's very generous! I received a parcel scale from her when we drove back to L.A. from Palm Springs at the end of December, and we stopped by her house to pick it up, as it was only a mile or two from the freeway that we often take. It was nice seeing her again, even if briefly, masked, and at a distance! I haven't used the scale yet, but I will when I get my Etsy store started, which will probably be in a couple of months.

I really do like the cowhide where you put it, and it will always remind you of her, which is one of the best things about it.

I just wanted to come back after a busy week and say thanks. I have been fortunate this past year and a half to have received way more than I've given away. Sharing treasures is such a universal pleasure and I'm delighted when something lands in the right place (even when that place is my own).

I was rewarded by Karma at the local thrift store today when I got a 1 1/2 yard piece of Schumacher Palampore fabric for $3.00! And no, I have absolutely nothing that goes with this....heeheehee
