Your room needs the furnishing positions to be tweaked a bit. You can't put the sectional up against a wall and have it hang over the edge of the wall like you have it.

I understand you want to focus on the FP and the TV but show us the total room and give us some dimensions. All of this will have an impact on the size of the rug needed for your room.

Beverly that’s so much for the reply. Here is some panoramas of the room. It pretty hard to get a picture of the whole room so I hope these help. Plus the general room dimensions.

125.5” on the longer side. 105.5” on the shorter side. One piece of the sectional can be removed and placed on either side of the corner piece so it could be longer either way. Currently the longer section is the one along the wall. Thanks!

Do you think it’s fine to walk out of the hallway right into the back of the couch. I like the layout you described that would be my only concern.

I know what is not acceptable...........having the sectional extend past the end of the wall it's been placed against.

I don't have the exact dimensions of your sectional so I had to guess on the length. Now that I'm looking at the photo again, the one side of the sectional is shorter. There should be plenty of room.

Sometimes the only way to know if something is going to work is to try it. You have the room and the sectional and that current rug is not working for your room so that has to come up anyway. Try out the layout. Also, since the corner of the sectional has a curve to it, I thought it was worth a try.
