Marble or Beige curb and knee walls

We are in the process of changing out our glass enclosure in our master bathroom because the door was failing and there were settling issues with the curb (the area that supports the glass). In doing this we would need to replace the cultured marble that was on the curb (off-white) and the 3 knee walls that should match the curb with. The contactor replaced them with marble, which is a cool white with gray and a bit of beige throughout. My cabinets are an off white and the floor is VERY beige (yuck but not an option to change it all out) so my first thought was that the new marble clashed with the off white and beige currently in the bathroom. The contractor is more than happy to change it out with off white granite.

I would love your opinions on weather or not to stay with the marble that is installed or replace it with the beige/off-white colored stone. Does the marble clash? Or is it interesting? I do have brushed chrome and the glass enclosure will be frameless on the bottom but will have a chrome top (for stability).

I would change it out with the quartz; it'll blend better and not have another stone in the space.

It's your choice, but personally I wld keep it as it goes with the doortrim of the house. I honestly like the look of the marble and do not think it clashes very much.

Thank you! The off white does tie in with everything else but I did put the off white up on one of the knee walls, away from the shower and it just blends right into the wall so I am beginning to think that I will keep the marble.

I may run to the tile store and pick of another curb stone in a solid white, not soooo beige and no gray and see what that looks like. Next to the shower the beige stone looks ok but when I put it on the knee wall on either side of the bathtub is just blends right into the wall. I am thinking that maybe the white will look good next to the white bathtub. I'll try it out and see.

I'd change it to a solid, warm white/beige quartz. You could change out the countertops at the same time so the countertop, backsplash, and caps on the half walls are all the same and connected. The marble doesn't work with your countertops or other tiles. I don't think you want to highlight those areas using a bright white.
