I don't think I would feel very comfortable sitting in this space for conversation.

• First, because I am partial to chairs with arms.
• Second, because chairs positioned on this formal diagonal would be more suitable for conversation and relaxing if the chairs were larger scaled for more comfort.

I'm with Beverly about armless chairs, though you did pick out nice ones. Arm chairs are so much cozier and conversational. An mrmless chair, sometimes called a slipper chair, belongs in a bedroom where you take off your slippers, drop clothes, etc. Or in a huge living room where someone entertains a lot and needs a couple extra chairs.

I'm much minimal with number of items - there's a group of photos already, 10 chairs which is fine. So I'm for one large canvas as posted above. Not bad about gallery wall, nice looking. Just an opinion.

I guess I don't know what room this is and its function so it's hard to make any recommendations regarding furnishings or layout.

It is a living/dining room.....
