Your vanity really isn't contemporary nor does it work well with the concrete look flooring. Contemporary would lean itself to a more streamlined vanity and often are hung on the wall. I just did a quick search to see if this is what you mean by "contemporary." Note the "concrete" looking floor.

The other thing is you say the bathtub enclosure is staying. Do you mean "enclosure" is the room the tub is by itself? Is the tub staying? If so, do you have a door on it or use a shower curtain? What color is the toilet and tub? Have you purchased everything on your list already?

The tub is shown in the picture. It’s in a separate alcove. Blue shower curtain. The toilet (which was the reason for this entire revamp) will be where the white garbage can is.
I think the vanity we’ve chosen can swing more contemporary if surrounded by the correct finishes. That’s why I was hoping for some recommendations for lighting and faucets.

Can we see your floor plan of not just this space but the surrounding spaces . IMO J&J are horrible even when the same sex shares the space this is even worse . I have found the space to make 2 bathrooms many times where people think there is no space .
