I have an ongoing battle with water. Last October we had our house re-roofed due to water causing our kitchen ceiling to sag and need to be replaced. The water source was thought to be identified, but not 100%. A few months prior to that, we had our gutters, soffits, fascia done and gutter guards installed. I started to notice afterwards that there were a couple of areas where at times water would end up in the bottom of the fascia cover and in the soffit. I presumed this was due to issues with the roof.
Fast forward again, to our new roof and our fascia full of water and ice again. Now, there is definitely some ice damming but this roof is brand new with ice and water shield as well.
Is it possible that this water coming in is due to the gutter guards or gutter installation.
I realize there are a ton of variables, I just can’t believe I’m still having this problem and don’t know if I should be doing after the roofer
