Hello, we’re in the middle of a kitchen remodel that included taking down a load bearing wall between the kitchen and the dining area of our LR/DR combo. I’m now trying to figure out the best possible layout for the room and there are so many schools of thought so I’ve tried laying out a few options. We will be buying new LR furniture, basically starting fresh so anything goes. Would love your thoughts.

The opening with barstools has the doorway to kitchen (39”) to the far left with a 67”peninsula to the wall). The opening on the far right of that same wall is the hallway. Directly across from the hallway is the front door. There is a long picture window and then the closet on the short wall corner behind dining table. So many obstacles and no corners is making it so hard!

Focal points would be window and tv and I’m considering adding an electric fireplace under the tv, but this isn’t a definite.
