Which Chair Should I choose?

Hi Everyone, I am in the process of refreshing my office and I am struggling to choose an accent chair to place in the corner facing my desk. I have a few finalists. I am limited a bit because need to keep the chair on the small side.

I have been thinking I want to keep the room neutral. I have a cowhide rug that I may continue to use but I"m still debating on that too.

I have included a photo of the large art that is on its way and will go on the wall you can't really see in my photos. I appreciate the help. I am open to other ideas and also suggestions for color if you think a neutral chair is a mistake. All of the chairs come in other colors except the first one. Thanks! Kim

I recommend a little bit of color with the chair. It does wonders for the mind during a workday. Visual intrigue, even if subtle, is mighty important. What I love with what you're doing so far is combining your desk with that artwork. Each has light golden hues which will feel lovely together. The chair could further celebrate that with a light golden chair (bit lighter and brighter than the cream options already listed).

Or you could search for a chair in the green family - to match the light to mid tone greens in the artwork. I suggest this because I know it will contrast quite beautifully with the wood tones in your existing desk. Your office space would then feel like a beautiful updated version of those lofty old studies (through the use of dark woods and dark greens). Yet, your space would then seek to accomplish the same 'study' feel with what's light and airy instead!

It could certainly still feel neutral, too. You're simply pulling a few concepts from that gorgeous artwork you've selected. I hope this helps expand your ideas. Simply let the mood you want to feel in that room guide you in your decision making. You can't go wrong with that! :)
