Two different backsplash in the kitchen

Hello Everyone,
I am in the process of designing my kitchen and wanted to hear thoughts on having two different backsplash. For the wall that has the range, I was thinking of a quartz backsplash (same quartz used for the counters tops). Then for the other wall, black backsplash like the picture below. For the range wall, I am going to have a covered vent with floating shelves on each side then cabinets to the side of the shelves (see picture for reference). So I’ll be bringing the quartz all the way up.
