Installing Solar Panels on a Flat Roof

I have a flat roof that was reroofed in 2018 with torch-down material. Unfortunately, water ponds in some areas. We want to install solar and the one company told me that I need to reroof with a plastic thermal roof.
Has anyone had experience with this? I’m feeling up sold...

Have you heard of gull sun coils. I was told these work well on flat roofs but can’t find anyone to recommend them personally and am also considering.
