Hello all and thank you in advance! If anyone is versed in old homes, I have an early 1900's home with a two-way medicine cabinet and I'm curious if it was added in at some point or if is original? (it opens both from the bathroom and my bedroom next door). I think the bathroom itself at one time was the sole bathroom. The cast iron tub is unique also--water comes out from a disk midway up the front interior of the tub side rather than a faucet. I've never seen anything like the tub either. But back to the medicine cabinet...mom loves it for the kitch factor but I think it's an eyesore. I don't hate it enough to replace it if it's original but this is one instance I wish the home could tell me its story.
