Picking L shape fabric sofa for living room : Room&Board, Crate&Barrel

Hi everyone

Looking for advise for a L shape sofa in our living room with good quality , durable fabric, and hopefully it can last for years.( especially advise on the fabric , i.e. easy to clean, dog and kids friendly).

The area where I want to put this sofa is is 122” x 124”.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated! Thank you so much :)

I’ve narrowed to a few choices:

Room & Board :

1. Holmes Sofa with Reversible chaise, Sumner Linen $2399(89”)

(love this the most ,but concern with the light color for cleaning and easy to be stained ?)

2. Andre Sofa with Reversible chaise , Total ink $2499(89”)/$2699(101”)

(dark color more resistant to stains , don’t love the leg, but more choices in terms of size)

Crate & Barrel:

3. Barrett Reversible Sectional, Galaxy Ash $1999

( a lot of review says the fabric is easy to be piled ? with storage ottoman)

Luonto Furniture:

4. Delta Sectional Sofa Bed, Rene 03 $3500

(this one is comfortable and functional with storage and removable head support , especially you can convert it to a sofa bed easily, but I don’t love the look of the legs , also the most expensive $ 3500)

You need to look at high performance fabrics. Also Sunbrella is available for indoors as well.

I am not a fan of the lounge as part of a sectional. It just seems odd if you have company and one guest is sitting with his feet up.

My preference is an ottoman. It can be place anywhere and also can be used to extra seating. And it still gives you the comfort of being able to put your feet up.

We are in the process of furnishing a second home. We have a sofa from Lexington from Baer furniture and we also have the Bennett from Ethan Allen.

Both gave us a choice of cushion softness. We waited for a sale of course before ordering. Never pay full price.

Thank you so much for your tips. We were looking for a bit mid-century modern sofa, and we loves the tufted button. We also went to showroom to sit on all these choices to make sure it is comfortable. Great suggestions on the sales , of course. Unfortunately , a lot of items are out of stock , so we couldn't get any discount on these sofas. We will give Ethan Allen another visit . omg! LOVE your doggie picture! I'm crazy dog lady lol

Ethan Allen seems to take three months. But you certainly have options on style, arm selection, fabric.
