I would need to know what else is in the space colors need connestion to other item and honestly this is a as from a bar as you can get with all the truly useless decor. So maybe post some pics of the actual space including the bar.

Will this space truly function as a bar? If so, would you equip it with a sink, undercounter fridge, wine cooler, ice? The color combinations are good but your selections would really depend on the rest of your decor. One thing I would discourage is storing firewood inside. There are always going to be bugs of some type that come in along with the wood.

Can the color choice wait until you have figured out accessories - rug, art, cushions, lamps. If you need to decide asap, just based on couch alone, instead of a greyish black, try a black with a brown undertone.

I really like a stained, more contemporary look.

Thanks Maureen! Yeah I’ll give those a shot. Yeah I think we may not be able to properly fit a rug due to 2 columns that butt against our couch. But we may use this one for under the small table that we plan to put in here as well.

That’s really nice. Maybe bring home paint chips and even some test pots, as your lighting will make a big difference also.

Take one of the pillows from the sofa with you to the paint store and try for a close match.
