Jinx - thanks for the suggestions. Ironically I have that Article bench in Bella Caramel in an entryway that didn't work out functional wise and honestly wondered if it could be moved to the bedroom. I'd like to stay away from going dark for the rest. I had all dark furniture with my old stuff so want to keep away from grays/black as best possible. For the chair, it would be kinda both, but mostly for putting on shoes in the morning or whatever, not much else. But I want to give it some size/width if that makes sense. I see so many accent chairs that feel like I'm in kindergarten again :)

Travis, how funny about the Article bench! Is it this color? If so, I really like it with the other decor ... the color works, and I like the idea of adding in the different texture. At least try it — the price is right. :D

Yes, that's the one. I love their stuff. I love color, so the Chair, accent table for the chair, pillows, throws, etc can be pops of color. I will be also adding a sofa/console/side table under the hanging 55" TV. which will go opposite the bed.

I‘m showing it in every color for fun. I was really hoping to find something less MCM and more kind of vintage contemporary (think 1980’s Architectural Digest rooms). Velvet or silk, especially. But I am kind of liking the lines of this, and the texture ... but maybe it’s too casual? I’m mixed on it.
