I think a console and your tv on the right side of the FP. Then, a nice piece of art or mirror above the FP. Usually, a tv above the FP is because it may be the only option for the space. You have a spot for it. :)

I recommend double checking the manufacturers specifications for clearances, etc- to be sure.

Can you clarify the layout? Specifically, is the kitchen right off the fireplace room? Do you have to pass through the kitchen to enter the fireplace room, or vice versa, or neither? Regardless, I would recommend removing the linoleum and installing real tile in the kitchen, as tile has the major advantage of being much more water resistant than most other flooring options. There are a wide variety of styles and designs to choose from, but that would primarily be governed by what other changes you intend to make to the kitchen. Recommendations for fireplace room flooring will largely depend on your answers to the layout questions I posed at the beginning of my response.

you have to customize them. that's why it's a hack. Meaning you have modify them and customize them in order to get them to fit to your space. as for the mantle portion, since your fp is almost flush to the wall, the cases would have to come outward. you'd have to do something like they've done here these are inset, (yours would protrude) but you can see the spacing on the sides of the fireplace surround. yours would be like this, or the one above. you'd have a 2-3 space between the FP and the cabinet even if u got the PB ones, you'd still have a gap this could be done too
