Here is a blooming Echium candicans "Pride of Madeira" that I am nursing back to health. I have it planted in a very dry mix that was heavy on bark and realized only recently that I needed to water it every day or other day. I will get it into a better soil at some point. I fertilized it lightly with DynaPro 9-3-6, and I recently tried an experiment with alfalfa tea that the plant seems to really love. The Aeoniums around its base have responded dramatically to the fertilizer.
