I hear you on the gold/brushed brass. I really REALLY want them for 2 bathrooms (3 sinks and 2 showers) but I wont spend that much. I’ve seen the no named ones you are talking about and don’t trust the reviews. However Costco has Moen faucets around the same price point. Part of me feels if I try the no name and then switch to the Costco Moen ones I’d still spend less on than buying name branded gold ones. I can talk myself in and out of it. and I’m running out of time.

I should clarify that Costco has Moen in Brushed Nickel under $50 Everyday and 10-15 off from time to time. Wish they would carry the BG!

We used brushed brass in one bath because it does really limit you especially since they don’t match brand to brand so you have to buy all from one vendor. We used the moen brushed brass, floor and decor happens to have towel bars that are very close. Once you start thinking about wall mount faucets you are out of the budget category as it limits suppliers and will drive up the plumbing cost substantially (you will have to have shut offs inside your cabinets)

Hallett- I was at Floor & Decor yesterday and saw those gold towel bars!! It looks very close (or close enough) to the Kohler brushed brass as well. I bought the towel rings and hooks they had on the shelf (they were out of the towel rods).
