HELP! Exterior Paint Trim Colors and Accents

Hello! I think we may keep our house siding its current color (cream), and perhaps just paint the trim/peaks and accents (window boxes, shutters, garage doors) to give it some "pop." Any color suggestions? We will keep the actual window trim cream, but could potentially paint the trim around them a different color. Thanks in advance!

We are open to just painting the shutters/boxes and replacing the garage doors too. Open to suggestions! Thanks.

It looks almost green in the picture.

I like the dark garage door color. I'd paint the trim and roof fascia that color, and paint the door a green, or grayish green shade. (or pick a color from the stone)

see how this one is? like that.

I don't care for that current red door color.

this wood one looks great w/the darker trim. wood shutters like the one above would also look nice.

this darker green would also be pretty w/the creams and darker trim

try any of these. you could use peppercorn for the dark trim, or try any of the others. pick one for the front door too

I agree to do the trim and roof fascia black. Maybe change the shutter color to either a pretty blue. Or maybe wood. Freshen the landscaping and yes to painting the door. Overall very cute nice house. Doesn’t need a lot of work.

Thanks, Beth H. You are correct; the garage doors, shutters and window boxes are all a dark green now. What do you think about the peppercorn as the trim and roof fascia (does this work with the warm cream?), and the garage doors the same as the house siding? I like the idea of wood for the shutters but I'm open to softer or brighter colors too.

Thank you, HU. Any suggestions on pretty blues for the shutters? I should have noted the picture was taken in the middle of winter, so the landscaping and grass looks much nicer now that things are blooming and green!

I think the peppercorn would be nice, or you could go a bit darker. you'll have to get some samples.

    these are darker brown base

This is Iron Ore w/more of a Dove gray and a creamy white

and more black. I have Wrought Iron on my own trim, paired w/Swiss coffee

and you could do lighter on the shutters and front door

We are open to painting the whole house, but are leaning towards keeping the cream if we can make the other colors work. I wonder if black is too harsh? Is Swiss Coffee a brown/espresso color?

no. it's a softer white. I used these 3 on my home, from 3 diff paint brands. the swiss coffee was Behr, I believe

wrought iron I did on all of the other trim, although you can't really see much of it here. so hard to get a pic of my home because the sun is always behind the house.

as you can see, the warm wood tones keep the colors from looking too 'cold'. I did the platinum on the fascia trim only because I thought my roof tiles were going to be darker. but they aren't. wished I had gone w/the darker color.

    BM brands.

    shoji is warmer

Navajo white would also be a lot more creamier

Eco Method Interiors -do you have any grays or olives you think that could work?
