Bathroom Vanity Advice

I’ve now ordered 4 different vanities. Two were damaged, one that I loved they sent the wrong color and now one I wanted was out of stock, and now this one that I got looks different than the picture. There’s no mention of it having a distressed finish online but see pics - def the case. I’m not sure how I feel about distressed and if that’s going out of style. I am also scared to order another option because time is running out and it seems getting what you want (or avoiding damage) when ordering online is impossible. I also talked to a cabinet company today and they’re 10-18 weeks out and more expensive. Why is this so hard? What would y’all do? Keep the distressed and roll with it, order another vanity from Home Depot, Lowe’s or Walmart, or something else? I’m so fed up at this point.....

I have no clue as to your problem What are the pictures showing ? Go to a store pick out a vanity and be done . Ikea has great vanities I have no idea what your style is and what you show has very poor storage . So I guess I need more info to even begin to help.

It seems to me it's not distressed intentionally but rather damaged? Also if you don't like distressed don't settle on it..one needs to really be a fan of distressed, imo.

Do you have a store or an outlet where you live? I know we have a huge one here, tons of vanities (none that I liked enough for the money, though, but it is always full of buyers, well, pre-COVID I mean). Something that you can see, and gets delivered faster too.

Another option that I went myself with, for a couple of vanities-to check the Craigslist. especially If the vanity is strandard size. (Or Nextdoor, or FB Marketplace). Takes time but people there migth put even new vanities they planned to use end ended up not to. Of course this takes time as well. And luck.

I think that this one is not what you expected to get, thus no reason to keep it, not more than with previous ones.

I'd be fed up too, of course, after fourth attempt of ordering. Wish you to find what you look for.

Don't keep something you are not happy with.

Ordering online can be frustrating and it seems that so many things are not done with care. Packaging, Shipping and manufacturing. Finding the right thing is tough.

I replaced vanities in my last home with vanities from Home Depot and was perfectly happy with them. I ordered cabinet bases from HD when I renovated my current bathroom. Again, quite happy with the result.

I am ordering my kitchen cabinets through IKEA - very good reviews.

I have had less luck with Wayfair, All Modern, Overstock. . .
