The sink you want should have a spec sheet specifying how it is to be installed. It should specify the opening you need in the cabinet to fit it. Additionally your faucet should have a spec sheet as well. You need to make certain that the opening in your cabinet (depth sounds like the likely constraint) can fit the sink clearance + faucet clearance. Usually when you're buying products online you can find the spec sheet to download before you purchase.

Ive read the spec sheet but its very confusing because I am beginning to suspect that it doesn’t give me minimum clearance but rather maximums for ada standards. Is that right?

The answer to this question turned out to be: talk to the plumber who will install. He came over to look at , reviewed the hardware, reviewed the space and then I had the assurance that it would fit. Then I called the quartz person to make the cutout and install the quartz counter. One thing I learned. Sometimes the sinks have imperfections and the drain will not fit. I purchased a metal drain and the plumber said it did not fit perfectly once he tried installing it. It was the one that the customer service rep told me would fit the sink. Fortunately, I had the one that came with the faucet. Didn't want to install the plastic one but at least there is no gap and doesn't leak. It would have been too late to replace the sink because the plumber was already here to install.
