Bad design to block window, right? Need help deciding on beam size.

Below is a kitchen with the beam/trim look I’m going for. Probably with my wall is that there is only a fee inches between window and wall. I tapped up some cardboard mock ups and wanted to get some feedback. The larger size is not that large, but blocks the window. Assuming it would be a big design fauz pas To block the top of the peak with the beam. Any ideas are welcome, thanks

Skip the center ridge beam- problem solved. Yes having the fake ridge beam block the window will look bad and reinforce that it is fake.

are you suggesting skipping jus the center beam, but keep the side beams from the peak to the wall?

I really like your room better than the inspiration :) Very pretty and calm. Agree it's not a good idea to have a large beam blocking the window.
