How to center an awkward dining room?

last month

Help! I’m driving myself bonkers. I’m working on re-doing our dining room. We have a table that I love and now working on the large empty wall. My issue is that the room is off center. On one side, there is a cut out that looks into the living room. It’s not in the center of the room. On the opposite wall (the large one) there is a door leading to the garage. The dining table is centered to the light, however should the wall behind the dining table be centered to the table or the rest of the room? I’m hoping to find a buffet table for some extra storage. Because you look into the room from the rest of the house, will having an off-centered dining set up look off?
