My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Oh cr*p I bought the wrong plants!

I meant to buy white trillium but instead ended up with red, which I don't like. Totally my fault, I didn't pay attention to the tags, they must have been mixed in with the tray of whites. If it were a large place I'd take them back, but it's a really small independent place and I'm embarrassed to do that. Oh well. Live and learn -- pay attention to the tags!

    Update: I returned them yesterday, was no problem. In fact, they turned around and offered them to someone else in the nursery who was looking for trillium but were sold out -- so they re-sold in less than 5 minutes! (so that 100% alleviated my guilt -- plus I think it might have made that other woman's day, she actually thanked me LOL!)
