My builder used shower sealer for my fish pond and the water is white

I wanted my pond repaired as the liner had a leak so a builder cementEd the side instead of a liner then used shower Sealant which has made the water white!!! I have not put fish in yet thankfully. Please help.

Sorry I have no idea why you just did not have the liner fixed .I think shower sealant is probably meant for shower not ponds.

What is his definition of "shower sealant" and why did he think that would work? What exactly did he use? Most all of those products are definitely not compatible for that application. I would get a landscape company in that specializes in fish ponds to basically start over.

Lesson learned, always find a Pro who specializes when dealing with something out of the ordinary. My vacationing neighbor's house sitter "didn't want to disturb them" and the amateur fix killed $15k worth of koi.
